According to Uko, the defendant broke into Sunday Bankole’s home to commit a crime. He took one 10-inch Sanyo television, which was worth N20,000. An act which violated Lagos State’s Criminal Laws, Sections 308 and 287 (2015).
The accused was granted bail in the amount of N50,000 with two sureties in an equivalent amount by Chief Magistrate Mr T. A. Popoola.
Popoola deferred the case to January 30, 2024, citing the need for the sureties to be law-abiding citizens of Lagos State who work gainfully for a respectable corporation or government organisation.
