Management Says Mohbad Died without a Will

By Reporter 2

The Management of the late singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, sometimes referred to as Mohbad, has refuted rumors that the musician left a will.

The artist passed away without leaving a will specifying the distribution of his belongings, as reported by the management.

Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, stated he learned his son had a will in a recent TVC interview.

Joseph Aloba stated in the interview, ” I was so shocked when I heard that the 26 years had a will.” That is not something I have as a father. Writing a will has never occurred to me.

A boy, 26, drafting a will. It is incorrect! They were so forced to work along with the Attorney to involve him in several improper matters.

In addition, Aloba asserted that someone made the thumbprints on the will after the singer passed away instead of signing it.

“Mohbad is the type of person who will never consider thumb printing with his hand,” he stated. Rather than do that, he will sign. They had to call in a lawyer to handle the internal calculations since he was deceased.

“I didn’t think that was true. He is supposed to sign he is not to thumbprint. I can’t declare that I want to thumbprint as his father. Both of us have different signatures. They had to fingerprint several items there with his hand as they couldn’t find him.”

But in a statement released on Monday 15th January 2024, and posted on the late singer’s Instagram page, his management refuted the assertion, calling it “false and misleading.”

A portion of the message said, “In order to prevent misunderstandings and confusion, we would like to use this opportunity to give a few updates and emphasize important realities.

First, the Police Authorities conducted an investigation and communicated that it would take a couple of months before they shared the autopsy results from samples sent abroad.

Secondly, “No one from Mohbad’s management team or his attorney has informed the public or any family members of the existence of a will or any other type of thumb-printed document—as has been falsely stated recently.”

“We want to make clear that, in the event that such a document existed, it would have been properly filed with the Probate Registry. Therefore, we humbly ask that people not spread such inaccurate and deceptive information.”

Thirdly, On September 12, 2023, all accounts that Imole had ownership or influence over during his lifetime were immediately placed under a Post No Debit order. This order is still in effect today. After the internal conflict is resolved, these accounts will be legally given to the family.
