The replacement for Jose Mourinho at AS Roma has been unveiled by the Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Recall that Mourinho was sacked by Roma on Tuesday, 16th January 2024 due to a poor run of form with the team this season

Roma have won just one out of their last six Serie A games and they currently sit in ninth position in the league.

In a tweet via his X account after Mourinho was dismissed, Romano disclosed that Roma have already contacted their former player Daniele de Rossi to take over as their new head coach.

“Contacts already taking place between AS Roma and Daniele de Rossi as potential new head coach,” Romano tweeted.

“De Rossi, keen on this possibility as he always had the dream to return to the club.”
