Biden in a Dilemma Over Death of US Troops

The White House and President Biden are in a dilemma about fighting back and risking a larger conflict.
This is following pressure from Republicans and lawmakers, including Mitch McConnell and House Speaker Mike Johnson, about the attack and deaths of service members at a small US outpost in Jordan.
The President of the United States of America, Joe Biden, has vowed to respond and hold those responsible accountable for the deaths of the US militants. The President made this known at an event in South Carolina.
It was noted that the three US militants were killed by Iran-backed militants and injured at least 30 others, all stationed in Jordan. These militants were the first American soldiers to die from hostile fire since the start of the Israel-Hamas war. The troops were there to support American forces in Syria and assist the military in Jordan, and their post is called Tower 22.
Officials say the drone strike made it through the base’s air defense, and some of the wounded are being treated for serious shrapnel wounds, while others are being examined for traumatic brain injuries. Since the Israel-Hamas war, Iranian-backed militants have repeatedly carried out strikes from Iraq, Syria, and notably Yemen, where the US and its allies have intercepted dozens of missiles and drones.
US officials have released statements on how tensions on different fronts in the region should be managed to not create another regional war.
