Gunmen Kill Husband, Abduct Wife In Plateau State

In the early hours of Friday morning, 16th February 2024, in the Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, gunmen raided the family home of a middle-aged man named Sule Gwamnati, shot him dead, and took away his wife.
It was discovered that the individuals thought to be abductors left with Gwamnati’s wife, Blessing, after shooting him.
According to sources, Gwamnati passed away a few hours after being taken to a hospital in Jos.
Luther Dafwang, a wife’s relative, verified the occurrence in a distressing message he sent on Friday, 16th February 2024 to Assemblies of God Church members in Jos.
“Brethren, please, we sincerely need your prayers,” said the message. The family of my sister was attacked by robbers last night in their Mai Katako, Bokkos LGA, home. After being shot, her husband was sent to the Jos University Teaching Hospital in Lamingo.
“My sister, his wife, was abducted by the bandits. And we lost her husband this morning (Friday). Her location is unknown to us. Kindly assist us in our prayer.”
Kefas Mallai, the Chairman of Community Peace Observers in Bokkos, also verified the attack to our reporter on Friday, 16th February 2024.
