Chief Ejezie Emeka Rollas, National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, (AGN) has thanked President Tinubu for his fatherly intervention in the well-being of the ailing Zack Orji, who is now traveling to the UK for a post-surgery evaluation.

Rollas commended First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her motherly care for the veteran actor and the President’s son, Seyi Tinubu, for his unwavering support towards actor post-surgery assessment.

He expressed gratitude to Ahmed Bala, Orji’s close friend, for supporting him during the ordeal and to Minister for Women Affairs Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye for her unwavering efforts in ensuring that Orji gets back on his feet as quickly as possible.

He stated, “We find it necessary to appreciate President Tinubu for the unprecedented support that he is giving to the creative industry, which has clearly shown his determination to make the sector more relevant and beneficial to both the practitioners and the national economy.”

Rollas had previously expressed sincere appreciation to President Bola Tinubu for the appointments of AGN member Ali Nuhu, Managing Director of Nigeria Film Corporation, and other important professionals like Dr. Shaibu Husseini, Director General of National Film and Video Censors Board, and Obi Osika, Director General, Council for Arts and Culture.

Recall that rumors surfaced a few days ago that Zack Orji had passed away. But afterward, AGN’s leadership refuted the widely circulated report.
