Fans are calling for an immediate end to the ugly celebrity feud between music icons Davido and Wizkid, as it has become quite unhealthy. Even while they acknowledge that celebrities may argue, they think the music industry will suffer as a result of the pair’s quarrel. Davido and Wizkid have not stopped teasing each other online, with their fans picking sides after the two dragged record producer Jon Jazzy into the dispute.

As things were headed in a bad direction, fans started pleading with the afrobeats celebrities to stop. Posts such as this one from Oriental Times, which reads, “You’ll giggle if you see Wizkid in person. He’s 4 feet tall, and I’m short. Shops at Footlocker Kids. Online trends include Davido roasts Wizkid”. Ironically, the same fans who want the dispute to finish quickly have been posting witty and mocking commentary all over the internet.

Emelike Odu-Jackson wrote,” This fight is gradually crossing the ‘cruise’ line, and it’s bad for the Nigerian music industry.”
