Popular musician Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable has been reportedly arrested by the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday, 14 May 2024, over refusal to pay his outstanding debt when he bought G-Wagon from a car dealer in the State.

It was gathered that, the vehicle worth N27 million but Portable had only paid N13 million, and has refused to pay an outstanding balance of N14 million. The car dealer reportedly took the matter to the Police after all efforts to get his balance were unsuccessful, leading to the arrest of the singer.

Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the arrest. He simply said: “The report is true. He was arrested today.”
