Xavi Hernandez has told the incoming new Barcelona Manager that he would suffer at the Catalan club and also enjoined him to be patient. He stated further that his role as Barcelona manager is complex. Xavi was relieved of his job by Barcelona last week.

Former Bayern Munich Manager, Hansi Flick, is striking a deal to become Barcelona’s next head coach following Xavi’s exit.

“I would like to tell the new coach that he will suffer and that he should be patient, it’s a very complicated position,” Xavi told DAZN after Barcelona’s 2-1 win over Sevilla in the La Liga on Sunday, 26 May 2024.

“The only thing that will save the new coach is winning.”
