The feud between popular singer Portable and his colleague, Davido has taken a new twist as the former hit hard on Davido after he unfollowed him on his Instagram page. The duo parted ways after Portable publicly accused Davido of giving him ‘bad advice’ during their recent dinner in the United States, saying the advice was for him not to win a Grammy.

He claimed that Davido, who signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and urged him to sign with Empire instead.
Portable alleged foul play, saying he is also aiming for a Grammy like Davido, yet the DMW boss is asking him to join a label that might not influence the award for him. Following the accusation, Davido unfollowed him on Instagram on Thursday, June 13, 2024.n

In his reaction, Portable said he doesn’t need Davido’s followership or assistance to be a successful artist or to win a Grammy. He inferred that Davido unfollowed him because he stopped being beneficial to him.

Speaking in a video message shared via his Instagram page, Portable said: “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammy,” he remarked.
