Finally, UAE Lifts Visa Ban on Nigerians – Minister of information, Idris

The United Arab Emirates ( UAE), has lifted the visa ban on Nigerian passport holders, this follows a compromise reached between the Federal Government of Nigeria and the UAE. This disclosure was made by the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, soon after the Federal Executive Council meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu on Monday, July 15, 2024.
The Minister said, “Nigeria has been discussing with the UAE over the ban on Nigerians traveling to that country, but today an agreement has been reached on that.
“Now Nigerian passport holders can be issued visas to travel to the United Arab Emirates,” he remarked.
