Due to prevailing economic hardship in the country, a Police Inspector identified as Dasu Kassa, has committed suicide in Adamawa State.

Kassa was found dead at his residence in Anguwan Yungur, Girei Local Government Area, on Monday, July 22, 2024.

It was gathered that Kassa had reportedly come back from a hospital in Yola earlier that evening. Family sources disclosed that financial difficulties and medical expenses may have contributed to his decision to take his own life.

DAILY POST learned that the Police are investigating the matter to find out the circumstances that led to Kassa’s demise.
