#EndBadGovernanceInNigeria Protest: President Tinubu to Deliver National Broadcast on Sunday

President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to address the nation on Sunday, 4th of August , 2024, at 7:00 am.
This information was conveyed by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), on Saturday, 3rd of August, 2024. Ngelale therefore requested that television, radio, and other electronic media outlets connect to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) to broadcast the address.
The broadcast will be repeated on NTA and FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same day, ensuring the message reaches a wider audience.
The President’s address will focus on the ongoing protests across the country. Demonstrators in Lagos, Oyo, Abuja, and other states have taken to the streets, demanding the reversal of the fuel subsidy removal and a reduction in the escalating prices of goods and services.
The #EndBadGovernance protests have highlighted significant public dissatisfaction with economic conditions and governance. President Tinubu’s speech is anticipated to address these issues and present the government’s response and plans.
