It said that an inquiry into the situation had begun and that the tailors’ sponsors had been taken into custody. Additionally, Adaramoye Michael, also known as Michael Lenin, the National Coordinator of the Youth Rights Campaign, was not detained, according to the DSS.

The secret police further stated that contrary to what the media had claimed, the activist was not in their custody.

Additionally, a few of their sponsors have been detained, and an investigation is currently going on.

Earlier on Monday, the police reported that 30 protestors and the Russian flag’s source had been taken into custody as the nationwide demonstrations started on Thursday, August 1, in response to the suffering that the people of the nation were going through.
