The appointment of Rt. Hon. Aminu Masari as Chairman of the Board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has been approved by President Bola Tinubu.

Recall that Masari previously served as the Federal House of Representatives’ Speaker and as Katsina State Governor.

In a statement released on Tuesday, 6 August 2024, by the Presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, other distinguished Nigerians will join Masari in serving on the TETFund Board, as members of the board, they are Senator Sani Danladi, Sunday Adepoju, Nurudeen Adeyemi, Mrs. Esther Onyinyechukwu Ukachukwu, Turaki Ibrahim, and Aboh Eduyok.

Ngelale further said, “The President expects the new members of the board of this crucial institutional vehicle to be dedicated and committed to driving TETFund’s objective of providing the needed support for tertiary education with a view to enhancing the productivity and quality of higher education.”
