Kaduna Governor’s Aide Urges Nigerians to Remain Hopeful

By Reporter 2

Fauziya Buhari-Ado, Special Assistant to the Governor of Kaduna State on the School Feeding Programme, has asked Nigerians to remain hopeful for a brighter future despite the continuing hardship in the country. Buhari-Ado made this known in a release she signed on Thursday, 8 August 2024.

The Aide reportedly disclosed this information after being recognized as one of the top 100 Africans, at a Business Investment Summit in Kigali, Rwanda.

She gave her word that Nigeria, like other African nations, would certainly overcome its current underdevelopment challenges.

“Always persevere and never give up. Africa is wealthier. There are talented people among us. Together, let’s make a difference in whatever small way we can. Nigerians are clearly experiencing economic difficulties, but this is not exclusive to our nation.

“However, as seen by our presence here, the world recognizes the tenacity of Nigerians. In addition to praying for Nigeria, let’s maintain our optimism and hope for a better future for the entire continent,” the speaker stated.

Speaking at the occasion, Fauziya Buhari-Ado advocated for coordinated efforts to address the socio-economic issues confronting the African continent and discussed the role of women in bringing about revolutionary change in society.

As she thought back on her own sacrifices, she reflected on how she had given up her own business ventures and free time to increase school enrollment and retention among marginalized and vulnerable students in Kaduna State through the school feeding program. She exhorted other awardees to carry on with their initiatives to improve communities throughout the continent.

Fauziya thanked Governor Uba Sani and a number of hardworking people in Kaduna State for their crucial assistance and efforts to the State’s School Feeding Program, which has successfully enrolled over 25,000 students in all 23 Local Councils.
