It’s the turn of Southeast to Produce President in 2027 – ACC Declares

Mr. Olusegun Peters, chairman of the Allied Conservative Congress (ACC), has made a case for the Nigeria President of Southeast extraction come 2027, to foster unity of Nigeria.
The Chairman made this statement during the inauguration of Abia State executives of the party in Umuahia, saying that the Igbo people had yet to occupy the exalted seat since the assassination of the former Head of State, Gen. Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi on 29th of July, 1966.
Peters who was represented by the ACC National Vice Chairman, Northwest, Ibrahim Abdullahi, explained that since Nigeria returned to democratic governance 25 years ago, Igbo were yet to produce a President but North and South West had occupied the seat twice.
He remarked that the party stands for equity and would stop at nothing to support the distribution of power among the three major tribes (Igbo, Hausa, and Yoruba).
Abdullahi described Igbos as industrious people and expressed hope that the prevailing economic hardship in the country could be addressed by the creativity of an Igbo man.
The National Party Chairman called for unity of purpose and collaboration among the State Working Committee (SWC), adding that the party has the interest of all Nigerians, irrespective of religious, ethnic, and educational background.
National Vice Chairman, North-Central, Hon. Illya Juan; the National Publicity Secretary of the Party, Hon. Abubakar Sadiq, and the National Vice Chairman, South-East, Vincent Eberechukwu congratulated the newly inaugurated executives for their dedication, expressing hope that they would lead the party to victory in the upcoming elections.
The acting State Chairman of ACC, Onyekachi Uwalaka expressed his profound appreciation to the party for the confidence reposed in the new state executive, he promised that the party would be repositioned to win governorship and legislative seats in Abia in 2027.
