‘I am living my life for Christ’ – Hulk Hogan

By Mary

Hulk Hogan whose real name is Terry Gene Bollea shared footage of the ceremony at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Florida, US, captioning it: “Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life. No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!”

“It’s amazing how many emails and messages I’m getting from around the world now that everyone knows I am one with and am living my life for Christ,” Hogan posted on X.

“All is well even now, joyful, happy, life is good, thank you God. Amen!” he continued.

The video has so far received over six million views on social media and thousands of comments and likes. Among those praising his decision to follow Christ publicly, are singer Greg Laurie, author Ann Voskamp and pastor Matt Brown.

Hulk Hogan began his professional wrestling career in 1977 but gained worldwide recognition after signing with the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE) in December of 1983.

There, his persona as a heroic all-American helped usher in the 1980s professional wrestling boom, where he headlined a record eight editions of the WWF’s flagship annual event, WrestleMania.

He also was a regular headliner of Saturday Night’s Main Event and its spin-off The Main Event in which he headlined 31 editions of both shows combined. During his initial run, he was a five-time WWF Champion, with his 1,474-day reign recognized as the third-longest in the championship’s history.
