Suspected Internet Fraudster Kills Baby Mama

Internet Fraudster, aged 27, Obakpororo Kelvin, has admitted to having murdered his Baby’s mother, identified as Excellence, due to drugs with a hammer in Sapele, Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State.
This was disclosed by the Daily Post on July 20, 2025.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, displayed the suspect in a video on social media. He said he took two tablets of “tramadol”(100 milligrams each) and smoked a substance called “loud” before he murdered the woman on the 26th and 27th June 2025 in Sapele, Delta State.
He claims that drugs forced him to take the life of the mother of his two sons over an argument on that fateful day.
Kelvin, who spoke in pidgin English, said that his eyes became clear after committing homicide. Noting that he recently started taking hard drugs. According to him,” My eye done clear. I’ve learn from my mistake.”
He said he is into internet fraud and farming as a side hustle. Adding that he used to advise other youths to abstain from hard drugs. He said,” Make them not do am.”
When asked what transpired between him and the demised, Kelvin said, She’s into hook up(prostitution). He explained that on that fateful day,” When she came to my place, she carried Vegas with clothes she would change. We get an argument. She carry knife and I carry hammer.”
Kelvin pointed out that he overpowered his children’s mother, took the knife, and hit her on the forehead three times. She fell down and died instantly.
He further expressed deep regret that he didn’t know the mother of his sons would die. “After she die, I come say make I die follow her. I come jumping down from upstairs and nothing does me.
“I come dey ask her say babe, I nor know say you go die before o. This one wey done happen, I go just join you make we two just go that side(talking to dead body).
According to the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, the suspect is expected to be charged in court.
