Faculty of Law holds first alumni event as pioneer graduates return

THE Faculty of Law, University of Port Harcourt, organised its first alumni event. It welcomed the pioneer set of graduates on July 23, 2025.

These graduates return to the faculty after delivering impressive performances at the Nigerian Law School.

The event created a platform for alumni to engage with current students and staff. Promoting mentorship and knowledge-sharing. A key highlight features the presence of Hon. Justice Biobele Abraham Georgewill, Presiding Justice of the Court of Appeal. Who joins as a special guest to inspire and interact with the audience.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof. Owunari Georgewill, commended the Dean, staff, and students of the Faculty of Law for consistently upholding the founding vision of the faculty. The occasion reflected the growth, unity, and promising future of the legal academic community at the University.
