Two Senators Join APC, Leave PDP

Two Senators have joined the All Progressives Congress, APC, leaving the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

This was made known by Daily Post on July 23, 2025.

The two Senators are Sampson Ekong, senator representing Akwa Ibom South, and Aniekan Bassey, the senator representing Akwa Ibom North-East.
