Uniport Concludes SUG Election With New Student Executives

The Federal University of Port Harcourt has concluded its student election with new executives on August 23,2025.

The election was a testament to peace and coexistence amongst students in Uniport. It was well secured and guided by the university management including the VC, Prof Georgewill Owunari.

It draws a large number of students crowding the auditorium before 7:30 pm. Also with a total of 18 eligible candidates

The student election started with Students Week, which ran from August 21-23. A week that involved Jean carnival, costume day, praise concert ,cultural day, and dinner night.

The election drew a total of 9 Unopposed positions out of 18 Positions.
