Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has made a promise of a bonus of $35,000 to each member of the Super Eagles for AFCON 2023 title. It was stated that if they should win the African Cup of Nations title, they would be rewarded each with such huge sum.

According to SCORENigeria, each member of the team will pocket a win bonus of $5,000 per match at the competition.

A draw will fetch each player $2,500.

This payment from the NFF to the Super Eagles for AFCON 2023 does not include the percentage of the upgraded $7 million prize money for the AFCON champions the players will negotiate with the NFF.

The Super Eagles are looking to win a fourth title in Cote d’Ivoire

They are drawn in Group A with hosts Cote d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Guinea-Bissau.

The 2023 AFCON finals will run from January 13 to February 11, 2024.
