Job Portal Shut Down in Kwara after 8,000 Applications

After receiving 8,373 applications in less than 48 hours, the Kwara State Garment Factory closed the application site that was just created to recruit 300 production staff.
According to a statement from the administration of the new government firm, they stopped the employment application portal because more people than anticipated applied for the position.
This reaction pleases us, as it demonstrates how eager and happy individuals are to collaborate with us. However, the volume of applications we have already received forces us to stop the site before the earlier date.
“In the first 48 hours after the site opened, we got a minimum of 8,373 applications. It was quite remarkable!
The statement added, “As a result, we have closed the portal to enable comprehensive and expert screening of the applications already submitted.”

According to Governor AbdulRaman AbdulRazaq‘s Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the clothing factory is one of his initiatives that will begin operations in the first quarter of 2024.
The National Bureau of Statistics estimated that 4.1% of Nigerians were unemployed in August of last year, a situation the country is now experiencing.
