Six People Die in Kaduna Terrorists Attack
By Reporter 2
Terrorists have struck once more in the Ambe community, leaving six people dead and nine more wounded in the Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. Micah Aude, the community’s young leader, on Monday, 6 May 2024, verified the tragic event.
He claimed that the terrorists broke into the neighborhood on motorcycles and started fire on a specific home that was hosting a birthday party. However, no one was slain other than those who were sitting around nearby stores.
Micah revealed that one of the attackers, who was riding one of the motorcycles but could not be identified, was captured by the villagers. “We’re about to bury the six victims now that security operatives have been drafted to the Community and normalcy has returned.”
When called earlier, Bissallah Malan, the Local Government Area’s Executive Chairman, stated, “I am in transit from Kaduna to the village. I will get back to you with further information, but right now I am unable to provide you with any reliable information.” When contacted a second time to confirm the incidence, the chairman remained silent.
As of the time this story was filed, it was reported that all attempts to contact ASP Mansir Hassan, the Police State Public Relations Officer, via text message failed.
