Six nominees shortlisted for the Super Falcons for the Fans’ Player of the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, WAFCON, tournament.

DAILY POST reports that the six players shortlisted for the award are Jennifer Echegini, Esther Okoronkwo, Ashleigh Plumptre, Folashade Florence Ijamilusi, Rasheedat Ajibade, and Chinwendu Ihezuo.

Recall that the Super Falcons of Nigeria emerged victorious at the WAFCON in Morocco.

Justine Pwanidi Madugu’s side defeated the host nation, Morocco, 3-2 in the final played at the weekend.
