Cote d’Ivoire winger, Max Alain Gradel says the Elephants are not under pressure and in a confident mood as they take on the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Jean-Alain Gasset’s side will look to record their second win of the competition when they take on their fellow West Africans at the Alassanne Quattara Stadium on Thursday, 18th January 2024.
The hosts top Group A with three points after beating Guinea-Bissau in their first game.
Gradel said the Elephants are not under pressure to perform at the competition.
“It was important for us to win the first game. We started slowly but victory is what is important,” Gradel told a Press Conference.
“We are happy with the three points. We have three days to prepare for the game against Nigeria. We are prepared and ready.
“We have a good team, no pressure. We are Cote d’Ivoire and will do our best to win the game.”
