Erik ten Hag, the Manchester United boss, has named his favourite country to win the 2024 European championship in Germany. He did not look at the direction of his country, The Netherlands, but went ahead to pick England as the favourite to win the Euro 2024.

The Dutchman said that the Three Lions boast of the ‘best midfield of all countries.’ England began their Euro 2024 championship campaign with a narrow 1-0 win over Serbia on Sunday.

Ten Hag said, as quoted by The European Lad on X, “England has a fantastic squad, they are favourites for a reason. “They have the best midfield of all countries in the EURO’S. They got Harry Kane as their striker. On the wings, they have an incredible amount of quality.”
