Afrobeats star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has stated that marrying an Igbo woman isn’t an easy task. DAILY POST reports that Davido wedded his heartthrob Chioma Rowland, an Igbo lady who hails from Imo State, Southeast Nigeria on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.

The singer spoke via music executive Ubi Franklin’s Instagram live session shortly after his wedding. Davido nevertheless, did not disclose the reason for his assertion. “E no easy to marry an Igbo woman, e no easy,” he stated.

Davido had, during the wedding, assured Chioma’s parents that their daughter would be protected and respected in their union. The ‘Assurance’ crooner said he promised her “a lifetime assurance.”
